About the route

Malpensa → Cortina d'Ampezzo240 minutes

Cortina d'Ampezzo is not just a ski resort. It hosted the 1956 Winter Olympics, will host the 2026 Games again, and remains one of the most sought-after destinations in the Alps. The drive from Malpensa takes around 4 hours — across Lombardy, through Veneto, and up into the Dolomites. There are no shortcuts here, and that is part of the appeal: the scenery changes completely once you leave the motorway behind.

Malpensa → Cortina d'Ampezzo

Cortina d'Ampezzo is not just a ski resort. It hosted the 1956 Winter Olympics, will host the 2026 Games again, and remains one of the most sought-after destinations in the Alps. The drive from Malpensa takes around 4 hours — across Lombardy, through Veneto, and up into the Dolomites. There are no shortcuts here, and that is part of the appeal: the scenery changes completely once you leave the motorway behind.

The road and the mountains

The route covers approximately 420 km. For most of the way it follows the A4 motorway east toward Venice, then turns north into the mountains. The final stretch — SS51 through Pieve di Cadore and the Ampezzo valley — is a proper Alpine road. In winter it can be icy or covered in fresh snow. Our drivers know this section well and adjust accordingly. Allow a full 4 hours; conditions in the Dolomites are unpredictable.

What comes with the transfer

Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign — no need to look for a taxi stand or figure out a bus schedule after a long flight. We track your flight in real time, so a 30-minute delay does not mean an anxious wait: the car is there when you land. You get 60 minutes of free waiting time from the scheduled arrival.

All vehicles are clean, climate-controlled, and stocked with water. English, Italian, and Russian-speaking drivers are available. For ski trips, luggage space matters — V-Class and Sprinter handle skis, boots, and bags without compromise.

Vehicles and groups

For a couple or small group with standard luggage, the E-Class works well. If you're travelling with ski bags and equipment, the V-Class is the practical choice — seven seats and enough boot space for a full kit. Larger groups or families with a lot of gear can book a Sprinter. S-Class is available for those who prefer it. All prices are fixed and calculated per route — no surge pricing, no commission.

Booking

Reserve through the form on this page or via WhatsApp. We confirm within 5 minutes. Payment options are flexible — ask at the time of booking. We also cover the return transfer from Cortina back to Malpensa.

Heading to another ski resort in the Dolomites? We also transfer to Val Gardena, Madonna di Campiglio, and Bormio.

Ну и в заключение

Cortina is a serious mountain destination — long approach, mountain roads, variable winter conditions. Book a transfer that accounts for all of that rather than figuring it out on arrival.
