Malpensa → Bormio

The route and who it's for

Bormio sits at 1,225 m in Alta Valtellina, Lombardy — one of the few Italian resorts that pairs a serious ski mountain with legendary thermal baths. This transfer is for skiers who want to step off the plane and start the holiday immediately, without car hire queues, GPS stress, or uncertain arrival times.

Road and travel time

The drive covers roughly 220 km and takes about 3 hours under normal conditions. From Malpensa the route heads east along the A4 motorway, then climbs into Valtellina via Sondrio. The final stretch through the valley narrows and gains altitude — in winter it means snow-covered roads, occasional chain requirements between Bormio and the Stelvio pass approaches, and the kind of scenery that makes passengers forget to check their phones. Our drivers know this road in every season.

What's included

Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall holding a name board, then takes care of everything. We track your flight: if it lands early we're already there; if it's delayed, the 60 minutes of complimentary waiting means no panic. Ski bags, boot bags, poles — loaded without drama. On board: chilled water, Wi-Fi, a driver who speaks English, Italian, or Russian. You reach your hotel in Bormio, Cepina, or Santa Caterina Valfurva exactly where the desk is — not at a taxi rank two streets away.

Vehicle classes and group sizes

A couple with ski gear fits comfortably in an E-Class. Families or groups of four to five travel in a V-Class. For larger groups — up to 8 passengers — we use a Sprinter with dedicated luggage space for full ski kit per person. The S-Class is available on request for those who prefer it. All fares are fixed and calculated per trip, not per passenger — the price you see when you book is the price you pay.

How to book

Use the booking form on this page or contact us via WhatsApp — we respond within 5 minutes. You'll receive a booking confirmation by email with your driver's name and phone number. Payment by card, cash, or bank transfer. No prepayment required for most routes.

Closing

Whether you're heading to Bormio for the Stelvio pistes, the World Cup downhill course, or a few days at Bagni di Bormio, the transfer handles the least interesting part of the trip. We also run transfers to Livigno, St. Moritz, and Cervinia if your plans change or you want to combine resorts.
