Malpensa → Cervinia

Cervinia sits at 2,050 m in the Aosta Valley, at the foot of the Matterhorn — one of the highest ski resorts in the Alps, open for skiing from October through May. Getting there from Malpensa by public transport means trains, buses, and a taxi up the mountain. We cover the full distance door to door: from the terminal straight to your hotel or the lifts.

Route and travel time

The distance from Malpensa Airport to Breuil-Cervinia is approximately 160 km, and the drive takes around 2 hours 15 minutes under normal winter conditions. The route runs north through the Aosta Valley along the A5 motorway, then climbs the SP46 mountain road to Cervinia. In heavy snowfall the ascent can take longer — our drivers know this road and time arrivals accordingly. If you're also planning transfers to Zermatt or Sankt Moritz, the same approach applies: mountain timing, no guessing.

What's included

Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name board — no wandering around the terminal. We track your flight in real time, so if you land 40 minutes late, the driver is still there. Waiting time up to 60 minutes is included at no extra charge. Vehicles carry bottled water and have Wi-Fi. Drivers speak English, Italian, and Russian.

Vehicles and tariffs

For couples or solo travellers, the E-Class or S-Class saloon works well — enough boot space for two ski bags. Families or groups of four to seven are better served by the V-Class, which fits ski equipment comfortably alongside luggage. Larger groups travelling to Cervinia together can book the Sprinter van. Pricing is fixed and route-based — no surge, no commission on top. The exact figure is calculated at the booking stage; we don't publish rack rates because they depend on group size and vehicle class.

Booking

The fastest way to book is through the form on this page or via WhatsApp — we respond within 5 minutes. Once confirmed, you receive a booking details message with the driver's name, contact number, and meeting point. Payment is arranged at confirmation. No cash surprises on arrival.

Ready for the slopes

The transfer ends at your hotel entrance or directly at the lift station — your choice. Skis unloaded, driver gone, first run within the hour. If you're returning the same way, the same driver or a colleague can collect you for the return trip to Malpensa. We also run transfers to Courchevel when your Cervinia season ends and the French Alps call.

FAQ Malpensa → Cervinia

FAQ for this route

How long does the transfer from Malpensa to Cervinia take?
Approximately 2 hours 15 minutes under normal winter conditions. The A5 motorway to Aosta is straightforward; the mountain ascent on SP46 can add time in heavy snow. We factor seasonal conditions into scheduling.
How much does a private transfer to Cervinia cost?
Pricing is fixed and depends on vehicle class and group size. We don't publish rack rates — request a quote through the form or WhatsApp and you'll have a number within minutes. No commission, no hidden fees.
How many ski bags fit in the vehicle?
An E-Class saloon fits two ski bags in the boot alongside standard luggage. The V-Class comfortably handles four to five sets of ski equipment plus bags. For larger groups with a lot of gear, the Sprinter is the right choice.
