Villa Melzi: a Napoleonic garden
Villa Melzi opens at 9:30. The English-style park stretches along the lake and is best visited in the morning light. Allow 60 minutes.
Villa Serbelloni: by guided tour only
The Serbelloni gardens are reached on foot from the main square. Tours run at 11:00 and 15:30 in season — book in advance.
Villa del Balbianello: the most photogenic
Reachable by boat from Bellagio in 25 minutes, this is the villa from Star Wars and Casino Royale. Closed on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Combine Melzi in the morning, lunch in Bellagio, and Balbianello after 14:00. Your driver can wait at Lenno pier to bring you back.
