Malpensa → Florence — 180 minutes
Florence is the kind of destination that starts rewarding you before you arrive — the closer you get, the more Tuscan the landscape becomes. If you've just landed at Malpensa and Florence is the plan, a private transfer is the cleanest way to get there: no train changes, no shared shuttles, no luggage hassle at Santa Maria Novella. We've been running transfers out of Malpensa since 2013. The route to Florence is one of our longer ones — about 300 km, roughly 3 hours depending on traffic on the A1 — and it attracts a specific kind of traveller: people who'd rather arrive calm than cheap.
Malpensa → Florence
The road
The A1 Autostrada del Sole connects Milan to Florence in a straight shot south. The Apennine crossing between Bologna and Florence adds some elevation change and, in winter, occasional fog or light snow — nothing dramatic, but worth knowing if you're travelling in December or January. The final descent into the Arno valley, with Florence spread below, is genuinely worth looking up from your phone for.
Total distance is approximately 300 km. Journey time sits at around 3 hours under normal conditions; add 20–30 minutes during peak summer weekends or bank holidays.
What's included
Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name board — no need to find a car park or figure out the right exit. We track your flight in real time, so if you land early or get delayed on the tarmac, your driver adjusts accordingly. The standard wait after landing is 60 minutes at no extra charge.
The car is stocked with water. English, Italian, and Russian-speaking drivers are available — just let us know when booking. Payment is handled after the ride or via bank transfer; no cash pressure at the kerb.
Vehicle classes and pricing
For couples and solo travellers, the E-Class is the default: clean, quiet, plenty of leg room after a flight. Families with luggage or a group of four tend to prefer the V-Class — same comfort, more space, sliding doors that make loading easy. For a premium ride, the S-Class is available on request.
For larger groups — corporate delegations, wedding parties, ski teams heading to Tuscany — Sprinter vans and full-size buses are available. The price for each class is fixed by route: calculated once, confirmed at booking, and not adjusted for traffic or time of day. Exact figures are shown at the booking stage.
Booking
The fastest way is WhatsApp — we respond within 5 minutes. Alternatively, use the booking form on this page: pick your date, flight number, vehicle class, and number of passengers. You'll get a confirmation with the driver's name and contact details. Payment can be made by card or bank transfer before the trip, or by arrangement with the driver.
We also cover the return leg — Florence back to Malpensa, or onward to Venice or the Ligurian coast. If you're planning a Tuscany loop and need a transfer to Forte dei Marmi or a day trip connecting through Milan, we can put together a route.
Closing
Florence rewards people who arrive rested. Three hours in a quiet car — with nothing to manage except what to visit first — is a reasonable start to a trip like that.
