Malpensa → Malpensa Airport — 180 minutes
Zermatt is car-free. That's part of the charm, but on departure day it becomes a logistics question worth solving properly. You need to reach Täsch by electric taxi or train, and from there your private driver takes over — all the way to Malpensa Terminal 1 or 2, roughly 270 km and 3 hours door-to-terminal. We run this route daily, for skiers with loaded roof bags, business travellers with early morning flights, and families who'd rather not navigate train changes with luggage.
Malpensa → Malpensa Airport
The road and time
From Täsch the route heads through the Valais valley, crosses the Simplon Pass or takes the A9 motorway depending on season and conditions, then continues into Italy via Domodossola toward Milan.
The drive is ~270 km and takes approximately 180 minutes under normal conditions. In winter, especially February–March peak season, the Simplon corridor can add time — your driver monitors road conditions and picks the fastest option. Count on 3.5 hours as a comfortable buffer. If you have a morning flight, we always recommend departing Täsch by 5:00–5:30 AM for a 09:00 departure.
The Switzerland–Italy border crossing at Iselle is typically quick for private vehicles. Your driver handles any documentation questions on the spot.
What's included
Your driver meets you in Täsch — or at the agreed Zermatt gondola/train station exit — with a name board. From that moment the journey is handled: luggage loaded, preferred temperature set, departure time locked.
We monitor your flight in real time. If your Malpensa connection is delayed, we adjust the pickup accordingly — at no extra charge. Waiting time of up to 60 minutes is included as standard.
Vehicles carry still and sparkling water. Wi-Fi on request. Your driver speaks English, Italian and Russian — useful if you need last-minute assistance at the terminal.
Vehicle classes and capacity
For couples and small groups, the E-Class sedan is the go-to — refined, quiet, ski-day legs grateful for the legroom. Families with gear travel better in the V-Class seven-seater, where ski bags and bulky luggage fit without compromise. For larger groups or serious equipment loads, the Sprinter van handles up to 8 passengers with full ski storage.
All vehicles are maintained and clean. Price is fixed per vehicle, not per seat — calculated by route at booking. No surge pricing, no platform fees.
Booking
Reserve online via the booking form on this page, or send us a WhatsApp message. We confirm within 5 minutes during business hours, and within the hour at night. Payment options: card online or cash to the driver on arrival.
For early morning Täsch pickups (before 06:00), we confirm driver assignment the evening prior.
Closing
After a week in the Alps, the last thing you need is a missed flight over a complicated connection. Book your Zermatt–Malpensa transfer, and we'll make sure you arrive at Terminal 1 or 2 with time for a coffee before boarding.
We also cover the return route — Malpensa to Zermatt — and popular neighbouring resorts: Cervinia and St. Moritz.
