From Bolzano the A22 runs straight to Verona, then the A4 west to Malpensa. On a clear summer day that's a clean 3.5 hours. In ski season — peak periods in late December, January, and February half-term — add 30 to 45 minutes for mountain road conditions, chains on the upper section above Ortisei, and denser motorway traffic around Verona. We set your pickup time with the flight in mind, not the theoretical minimum. For a morning departure, that often means leaving your hotel in Selva before 5 AM. It's early. It's also the right call.
