Road and journey time
The drive from Livigno to Malpensa Airport covers roughly 200 km and takes approximately 3 hours. The first section crosses the Foscagno and Iva passes — in winter these roads require local knowledge and the right equipment. Our drivers know this stretch in every season, including January conditions when visibility can drop fast and packed snow lingers well into the morning.
Past the passes the route opens up onto the Valtellina valley, then the motorway south through Lecco and on into the Milanese hinterland. Plan your departure with buffer: a good rule of thumb is to arrive at Malpensa at least 3 hours before an international flight. We factor that into the pickup time when you book.
