Malpensa → Malpensa Airport — 180 minutes
The drive covers roughly 220 km and takes about 3 hours under normal conditions. The route descends from Alta Valtellina through Sondrio, then joins the A4 motorway west toward Malpensa. In winter, the upper stretch between Bormio and the valley floor can mean icy roads, reduced visibility, and mandatory chains on certain sections — conditions that add 20 to 40 minutes if you don't account for them. We plan departure time based on your flight, road conditions, and terminal check-in requirements. For early-morning flights, pickup typically starts at 3:00–4:00 AM. We pick up at your hotel entrance — no taxi rank, no walking with ski bags. The departure time is set by us based on your flight: we track it and adjust if the schedule shifts. The 60 minutes of complimentary waiting covers scenarios where check-out takes longer than expected. Ski bags, boot bags, poles — loaded at pickup, unloaded at the departures drop-off. On board: chilled water, Wi-Fi, a driver who speaks English, Italian, or Russian. You arrive at Malpensa Terminal 1 or 2 with time to spare. A couple with two ski bags fits in an E-Class. Families or groups of four to five travel in a V-Class, which handles full ski kit without compromise. For groups up to 8 passengers with gear, a Sprinter gives everyone room. The S-Class is available on request. All fares are fixed per trip — calculated when you book, not adjusted afterward. Use the booking form on this page or contact us via WhatsApp — we respond within 5 minutes. Provide your hotel address in Bormio, your flight number, and departure terminal if known. You'll receive a booking confirmation with your driver's name, phone number, and pickup time. Payment by card, cash, or bank transfer. The return transfer is the easiest part of the holiday to get wrong — an optimistic schedule, a slow mountain road, and a closed check-in desk make for an expensive lesson. We also run transfers from [Livigno](/transfer-to-livigno), [St. Moritz](/transfer-to-sankt-moritz), and [Cervinia](/transfer-to-cervinia) to Malpensa if you're combining resorts or flying out from a different stop.
