Route and road conditions. The distance from Malpensa is approximately 250 km; the drive takes around 3 hours under normal winter conditions. The route crosses from Italy into Switzerland at the Chiasso or Lugano border crossing, then follows the A2 motorway north through Bellinzona and Chur before turning west into the Rhine Valley toward Flims. In winter, the approach road from Chur can be affected by snow and ice — our drivers carry snow chains as standard and monitor road conditions before departure.
What the transfer includes. Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall at Malpensa with a name board, regardless of which terminal you land in. We track your flight in real time — if it lands early or late, the pick-up time adjusts automatically. You get 60 minutes of free waiting time from wheels-down. Ski bags, boot bags, and poles travel in the boot at no extra charge. The car has bottled water; drivers speak English, Italian, and Russian.
Fleet and tariffs. For couples and small groups we use the Mercedes E-Class. Families with skis and extra luggage fit comfortably in the V-Class. For larger groups or extra-bulky equipment — snowboards, bike boxes, excess gear — we recommend the Mercedes Sprinter. The price is fixed per vehicle for the route; no meter, no surge pricing, no toll or fuel surcharges. The exact fare is calculated on request and confirmed in writing before you book.

Flims-Laax has one of the longest seasons in Switzerland, often running from late October through May on the upper glacier.
