The route and travel time
The drive follows the A4 Autostrada — the main east–west motorway across northern Italy — passing Padova, Verona, Brescia and Bergamo before reaching the airport. Under normal traffic conditions the journey takes approximately 2 hours 45 minutes. We recommend an early departure: for an international flight, allow at least 3 hours at the airport, which means leaving Venice 6 hours before your scheduled departure time.
Pickup point in Venice is Piazzale Roma (the main gateway for road vehicles) or Mestre railway station for passengers arriving by train from the city centre. Your driver will meet you at the agreed point, help with luggage, and confirm the terminal before you set off.

Sprinter and minibus options cover larger groups — available on request with a fixed group price calculated per vehicle.
